A townhall hosted by Black Radio United

Atlanta, Georgia – Local Black radio stations of the metro Atlanta community united together to host a town hall meeting at Clark Atlanta University.

Moderated by some of the most popular voices of Atlanta’s radio airwaves: Ryan Cameron (Majic 107.5), Young Jock (Streets 94.5) Art Terrell (Kiss 104.1 FM), Frank Ski (Kiss 104.1 FM), Greg Street (V-103), Rashad Richey (WAOK), and Morris Baxter (WCLK 91.9).

The purpose of the town hall was to allow candidates of the upcoming election the ability to introduce themselves and share their platform with the local Black community. Candidates that attended the town hall were: Governor Brian Kemp (Republican gubernatorial candidate seeking reelection), Stacey Abrams (Democratic candidate for Governor), Alisha Thomas Searcy (Democratic candidate for Georgia School Superintendant), Raphael Warnock (Democratic candidate seeking reelection as U.S. Senator), Bee Nguyen (Democratic candidate for Secretary of State) and State Senator Jenn Jordan (Attorney General candidate).
